How licensing works
Simple rules, built for DBAs who work on locked-down networks.
One license, one computer
Move it any time: choose Release license on this device in Help ▸ License…, then activate the key on the new computer.
Online activation
Enter the key in Help ▸ License…. The app re-checks the license in the background and keeps working for 14 days without a connection.
Offline activation
For networks without internet access: the app creates a request code, you turn it into a license file at sqllightspeed.com/lisans from any other computer, and import that file.
Nothing is lost
When a trial or subscription ends, your connections, worksheets and settings are kept. Enter a key and everything opens where you left it.
